Quoddy Hope Chest

The Quoddy Hope Chest is a beautiful addition to your bedroom to keep those memories and keepsakes. This chest matches the detail of our Quoddy Sleigh Bed. The chest has three raised panels on the front and one on each side. The raised panel detail show on the interior as well.The back is a solid flat panel. The interior is cedar lined top and bottom. The legs have a gentle flair at the base.

The Quoddy Hope Chest comes in two sizes as standard product and can be made in any of the wood type listed below. If a different size is required or you want to have a specific type of wood or use different wood types for the panels, please send me your specifications. The chest shown in the picture is made from some very unique bird's eye maple with some spalting to give it some unique detail. The size of this chest is 47 1/2" wide x 22" depth x 22" height. The Quoddy Hope Chest as shown in the picture above was on display in the Messler Gallery at the Center for Furniture Craftsmanship in Rockport, Maine from November 29th through March 14th, 2008. The piece was selected as a finalist in the Maine Wood 2008 contest judged by Garrett Hack and Beth Ireland.
